These are some Wonderful thoughts which was sent to me by one of the 'fauji' kids, who feels strongly about what our fathers/mothers/brothers/sisters/friends served/serving in the Indian Armed Forces did and have been doing. This si Not a copy right, and Would want Each & EVERY INDIAN to read and Realize(which is true in every word/thought) and pass on.....

A Tribute to Defense Forces of INDIA

Your alarm goes off; you hit the snooze and sleep for another 10 minutes

He stays up for days at a stretch

You take a warm shower to help you wake up

He goes days or weeks without running water

You complain of a "headache", and call in sick

He gets shot at as others are hit, and keeps moving forward

You put on your anti war/don't support the troops shirt, and go meet up with your friends

He still fights for your right to wear that shirt

You talk trash about your "buddies" that aren't with you

He knows he may not see some of his buddies again

You walk down the beach, staring at all the pretty girls

He walks the streets, searching for insurgents and terrorists

You complain about how hot it is

He wears his heavy gear, not daring to take off his helmet to wipe his brow

You go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant got your order wrong

He doesn't get to eat today

Your wife/mother/ maid makes your bed and washes your clothes

He wears the same things for weeks, but makes sure his weapons are clean

You go to the mall and get your hair redone

He doesn't have time to brush his teeth today

You're angry because your class ran 5 minutes over

He's told he will be held over an extra 2 months

You call your girlfriend and set a date for tonight

He waits for the mail to see if there is a letter from home

You hug and kiss your girlfriend, like you do everyday

He holds his letter close and smells his love's perfume

You roll your eyes as a baby cries

He gets a letter with pictures of his new child, and wonders if they'll ever meet

You criticize your government, and say that war never solves anything...

He sees the innocent tortured and killed by their own people and remembers why he is fighting

You hear the jokes about the war, and make fun of men like him

He hears the gunfire, bombs and screams of the wounded - and of the innocents who have no one to stand up for them

You see only what the media wants you to see

He sees the broken bodies lying around him

You stay at home and watch TV

He takes whatever time he is given to call, write home, sleep, and eat

You crawl into your soft bed, with down pillows, and get comfortable

He crawls under a tank for shade and a 5 minute nap, only to be awakened by gunfire

You sit there and judge him, saying the world is probably a worse place
because of men like him

If only there were more men like him !

WHO is HE ?

He is no one but the one sacrificing his today for our future
INDIA !!!

Its Time We think about it, and change our attitude and ways ........

Today where 'WE' r,is Because of US!

Workplace(1600hrs) : I would dedicate this post(first)for a cause and would do so because the turmoil are country is in,thanx to the Media which has(including the people in the nations across the world) jolted and awakened our conscience(for humanity and Justice).
It was a routinely activity i did-of checking my personal mail midst my lunch, when i came across one such mail which i would have discarded as "SPAM",but fortunately instead of being one of those junk chain letters(which face the brunt of the ticks of the bulk mails i "Delete") the Subj. line read "Mumbai attack pictures-not so bloody",is when i thought of taking a look at it even after having enough of it since the past 5 days. Some pics' were the ones which have filled in our mail boxes, first 4 pges of our news daily,TV channels etc etc. . But there were these pics'(of men in camouflage/black with machines) which made me look at it(intensely) as if i was looking at a scenary and coming from a background where such a site is a daily phenomena to see such men with the backdrop of the city, taking positions, ducking the way they would during an exercise ( in a desert or between hills or a grassland). I was astonished and which is when one of the recent SMS's which is doing the rounds saing"let the Dhoti Kurta so called "Khadi"men go sit in the bunkers and lets have the men in black/Olive face another brunt of not just saving lives, but also looking into the subject of setting policies and Ruling the Nation"
I/all Indians who have closely watched the news channels would truly agree about the fact that there is a vast difference between the thought process of the Army Men(Retd.) and the politicians talking on the same issue giving a different perspective individually. Does this mean they should be giving it a thought of setting their own party(and washing their hands in the marsh,as they popularly say) instead of working on menial issues(as addressed by the babus) like the Sixth Pay Commission.

:-) WELCOME :-)

It's my first post.... I would want to WELCOME all those who would visit this Blog either by way of my invitation or "G" searching something or are those Cybergoons(I being one) addicted to the Blog World-writing About a cause,About YOUR Life,About the happenings around YOU,About the "system" (your workplace or the one V r living in!)or are just another Blogger.
I have to admit the fact that I have been wanting to Write for a cause, for interaction,to exchange views etc etc. But this time I did Push myself to finally "own" a place(thnx to Google!!) where I can write about an issue, xchange view etc etc. If it wasn't for the turmoil the country's going through, including Me(loadsa issues to talk about)since mid 2008,which i strongly feel about,I would not be "owning" this place and writing.
